The excursion starts from the Giogo del Maniva. After parking the car in the large square, we follow the Baremone road (closed in winter) which leads to Anfo on Lake Idro. After about 30 minutes of walking we arrive at the Dosso Alto Pass (mt.1674) and then we follow the indication for the Portole Pass (mt.1726) and the Tita Secchi Hut with the possibility of a bivouac (which we reach in 10/15 minutes).

We continue on our path marked by the tricolor signs of the resistance and by the white-blue signs of the 3V. We are on the paths of the resistance of the Perlasca and Margheriti Brigades and the hut is dedicated to the Brescian partisan Tita Secchi. We go around the foothills of Corno Barzo and continue until we cross at Passo di Paio the junction between the low variant of the 3V (which we will follow on the way back) and the path that will take us to Corna Blacca.
When you reach the forcella of Monti di Paio, pay attention to a fork (not very signposted) that indicates the direct route to the top or the one that goes around the mountains. We follow the easiest way to the top. It is necessary to pay attention to the signs that are not always visible and to some passages on rocks, but once on the top, the view is priceless. On the first peak there is the memorial stone dedicated to the fallen of the Margheriti Brigade, continuing on the ridge we arrive at the second one where there is a cross in memory of the chaplain Don Bonomini.

For the return trip we descend on the opposite side towards Pezzeda; arrived at Passo di Prael, signs indicate the way back along the low variant of the 3V that brings us back to Passo delle Portole and Maniva.
