Cookie Policy
Cookies, essential storage, optional webcam content and consent choices on the Maniva Ski website.
Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files stored by your browser on your device. They can maintain a session or a choice, or enable features provided by external services. Other browser storage can serve similar functions: what matters is its purpose, not simply the technology’s name.
This page explains these technologies on the Maniva Ski portal. The controller is MANIVA SKI SRL, Via Filzi 17, 25063 Gardone Val Trompia (BS), Italia, VAT 02756060980. For information contact info@manivaski.it. General information about processing and your rights is in the Privacy Policy.
Accept, reject or change your mind
On your first visit, the Iubenda panel lets you accept, reject or customise optional technologies. Simply continuing to browse does not constitute consent. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from reading pages or using essential functions.
You can reopen preferences using the footer control or the Iubenda button. Cookie choices do not apply to the newsletter: subscribing and unsubscribing are separate actions.
Storage needed for the service
Technologies strictly necessary to provide a requested service do not require the consent needed for optional cookies. They are used only for their respective functions.
| Name or family | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| PHP session cookie, normally PHPSESSID | Maintains the session and form protections; supports authentication in restricted areas. | Session cookie. Retention of server-side session data depends on hosting configuration. |
| maniva_guest_profile | Remembers your private/group choice in the accommodation enquiry flow to display relevant contacts. | Browser session. It contains no name, email address or personal identifier. |
| Iubenda preferences, for example _iub_cs-39142023 and associated storage | Records and makes available your choices about optional cookies and content; actual names can vary with Iubenda configuration. | As set by the Iubenda service and configuration. See the linked Iubenda Cookie Policy for current durations. |
The Summer/Winter choice is passed through links and follows the website’s rules; it is not used to create an advertising profile. Language depends on the Italian or English path visited. A session may exist even if you do not sign in to the CMS.
Optional external content
Webcams may display images provided by Meteopassione. Loading them sends a request from your browser to the provider, which receives at least the technical information needed for the connection. External images therefore load only after you enable the Experience category in the panel.
If you do not consent, a local placeholder is shown. You can change your choice or follow the external source link: in that case you choose to visit that website, which has its own notices. Withdrawal blocks subsequent loads within this portal; it does not undo requests already made before withdrawal.
Marketing: Meta Pixel and Mailchimp
With consent to the Marketing category, Meta Pixel and the Mailchimp connected-site integration may load. These services may receive page-view, device and connection information and use identifiers to measure campaigns, link visits and support promotional activities. Without the relevant consent these scripts are not loaded.
Connecting the website to Mailchimp and subscribing to the newsletter are separate actions: accepting Marketing cookies does not automatically subscribe you to the newsletter. A specific choice in the newsletter form is still required.
Measurement
If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, it requires the Measurement category. The retired Universal Analytics is not used. Measurement and advertising purposes remain separate; details and durations for the services used must appear in the linked Iubenda documentation.
You can withdraw any category in the panel. To stop scripts already loaded, withdrawing Measurement or Marketing may reload the page: finish any unsent forms first. Earlier communications are not undone retroactively. Third-party cookies also remain subject to browser settings and the relevant provider’s controls.
External links, purchases and social platforms
Links to ski-pass purchases, property websites, WhatsApp, social platforms and area information portals are links; they are not embedded social widgets or tracking systems. An external service opens when you select the link. Its own notices then also apply.
See the Privacy Policy for controller details, recipient categories, transfers and rights. For services listed by Iubenda, also consult their descriptions, purposes and durations in the external document.
Manage storage in your browser
You can view, delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Deleting them may prevent the website from recognising earlier choices, so you may be asked again. Some browsers restore sessions between launches: a “session cookie” is not necessarily deleted whenever you close a window.
Blocking all technical storage may affect forms and access to restricted areas. To change only optional technologies, use the preference panel. Browser settings and external-service settings remain independent.
