Hotel Locanda Bonardi on Maniva is the starting and ending point of this magnificent, not-too-demanding itinerary, which takes you up to the famous Seven Crosses Pass. From there you'll turn around and enjoy the same beautiful landscapes you saw on the way up from a different perspective. Ready? Go! The ride opens uphill but is short - it's only three kilometers - and after a few bends, at the foot of Mount Dasdana (2191m a.s.l.), the asphalt gives way to a dirt road that is never too steep or dangerous and is really enjoyable.

This high-altitude trail runs in the shadow of the four Columbines, a series of elevations that reach 2214 meters above sea level-they are the highest elevation in the area-positioned along a ridge from Mount Dasdana to the Clusona schooner, the northern watershed between the Trompia and Camonica Valleys.
You are on a beautiful traverse that alternates between singletrack and dirt road and connects Passo delle Sette Crocette with the paved road that joins Passo Croce Domini and Giogo del Maniva.

A mountain bike (even front) is the ideal bike for this stretch, in either direction, but a Gravel with thick tires might also suffice.
The dirt road becomes a trail, with a few passages to watch out for. Don't worry, those who don't feel safe can pass these short, more challenging sections by pushing the bike.

Once you reach the pass the view is 360 degrees, really special! Don't forget to take a photo in front of the small dry-stone wall with seven iron crosses attached to it - the originals were made of wood, later replaced with the currently visible, more durable ones - and a memorial stone bearing an engraving dated 1688. Several legends are linked to this place: some versions refer to stories of witchcraft, while others tell of the killing of seven people by bandits or shepherds.

Taking a left shortly after passing Dasdana you return to Hotel Bonardi via a small variant that gives you a privileged view of Dosso dei Galli (2188 m a.s.l.) and its radar.
